The most recent report from yesterday as well as other boats in the fleet show an exceptional sign of bluefin and yellowfin tuna well within 4-day range.
We have two 4-day trips coming up next month with spots available. Not only would these trips target yellowfin and blue fin tuna but yellowtail as well.
With two trips open during the upcoming holiday season, either one would make an excellent choice to finish out the year with a bang.
Incredible night of bluefin action

We got delayed a few hours on our departure this trip due to bad weather. But, that ended up working in our favor. It put us right in the local bluefin grounds at dark. An incredible night of bluefin action on fish from 100-265#'s. Team Hoo is off to a great start!

Decided to bypass the rockfish this morning and get in a few hours early to hopefully beat most of the wind and heavy rain that is in the forecast tomorrow morning. Passenger and crew safety is priority #1. I want to thank everyone who made the Brad Merritt 30th anniversary trip this year. The longest running charter on the Excel. This was a great trip all around!
